This Jerpoint version is inspired by the stone carving in Jerpoint abbey for its size, with Trinity College and Queen Mary harps serving as the basis for its decoration. It is made using traditional construction methods without a single drop of glue. The soundbox is hollowed out of a single block of wood, the two piece frame is joined with traditional mortise and tenon joints, its brass horseshoes are handforged, it has brass cheekbands and a separate back plate. Almost every surface of the harp is decorated, following traditional motifs and patterns.
